Are these buckles easier and safer for toddlers?
Yes. All of the buckles used on The Buckle Toy are specifically designed for little fingers. They are quick release buckles so they do not pinch and are easy to undo. The buckles are much smaller than regular sized buckles so it is easier for little fingers to have more control.

What is the best age for this toy?
We started to notice our son's interest in buckles (highchair, stroller, even car seat) at about 12 months. When a toddler reaches about 18 months they have much more control and , so they want to play a lot longer. Once a toddler reaches about 4yrs old they have probably mastered this toy so it won't keep them occupied as long as it used to.

Is this product available anywhere else?
No. The Buckle Toy is only available on-line at this time.
